Teresa Porter

Teresa Porter

Director

Teresa is a mother of two daughters and has two grandchildren. She has lived her entire life in central Ohio, and is a 1984 graduate of Amanda-Clearcreek High School. Teresa’s passion for working with children began in Middle School and has continued to this day. She has worked at Kids Klub for over 16 years. She began working at Kids Klub in January 2006 as the lead Toddler Teacher. From 2006 to 2016 she taught preschool, school age children and was an administrative assistant in the office. In April of 2016 she became Co-Director. In October 2017 Teresa became the Director of Kids Klub Childcare. She has a Preschool CDA credential and has taken Early Childhood Education classes through the University of Cincinnati. Teresa loves watching a child’s development through their different ages and stages. She loves listening to the stories that they “need” to tell and all the hugs and “I love you’s” she gets each day. She has always felt that if she can make a difference in one child’s life then it makes it all worth it. To Teresa it is like being a mom to over 70 kids each day. One of her favorite things is when she runs into a former student or when a former student stops by to visit, and she gets to hear how they are and what they are doing with their lives and the memories they remember from being here at Kids Klub.

She really dislikes spiders and summer.
